I'm creating a future of healthier children everywhere by raising funds for SickKids/ Camp Oki. SickKids is a great cause - they're Canada's leading children's hospital and they treat kids with the most complex medical conditions. I'm asking for your help.

I've organized an fundraising event for Camp Oki, Canada's first (and only) Summer Camp for children with congenital heart disease. 

Beginning in 2004 as a long weekend program for children from the pacemaker and defibrillator clinic at the Hospital for Sick Children ("SickKids"), it has grown rapidly. With staff support from the Labatt Family Heart Centre and organizational support from the SickKids Foundation, we now operate a one-week program in Muskoka for children from acrossOntario and Quebec with any type of heart disease, without charge to campers or their families. 

Camp Oki provides a safe and enjoyable recreational opportunity for children who are often "shut out" of mainstream summer camping programs because of misinformation and lack of confidence on the part of camps, parents and patients.
